Many
different activities are open to visitors
here. Of course, Lake Placid and its
many activities is only an eight-minute drive
away. Hiking trails are everywhere and well-marked,
with convenient parking areas just off the
main roads. Many of the ponds and lakes in
the area are stocked by local hatcheries,
providing excellent fishing. For snowmobile
enthusiasts, the state keeps several local
groomed snowmobile trails, which can be accessed
right from our motel. Local stables make horseback
riding another possibility for an afternoon
event. And bird watchers: the Adirondacks
have a wealth of species for you to observe
and admire. Saranac Lake, Tupper
Lake and Lake Placid have many
exciting attractions that are just minutes
away from our motel. Be sure to take advantage
of these many opportunities!
